My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aspen! Aspen is the happiest, wiggliest, most affectionate girl you’ll ever meet! She’s full of energy and always ready for playtime, adventure, and, of course, all the love and attention you can give. She’s a perfect match for first-time dog owners and would make an incredible walking or running partner. But don’t let her playful side fool you, Aspen is also a total cuddle bug and loves to snuggle up on lazy days. Aspen is very food motivated, which makes training a fun experience! She’s still working on her manners (she just gets so excited!), but she’s eager to learn and always up for a challenge.

When it comes to other dogs, Aspen is a social butterfly! She gets along with dogs of all sizes and would love to have a playful canine sibling. She hasn’t met any cats, so it’s unknown how she’d react. Aspen also hasn’t met children while in foster care, but she’d likely do well with older, dog-savvy kids who can respect her space, though her jumpy, playful energy may be a bit much for toddlers. She does bark when she hears noises in the hallway, but overall, she’s adaptable and could thrive in various environments, including a busier neighborhood. She does have a bit of a prey drive, so she’ll pull toward small animals on walks, but she’s not reactive to people or dogs, just excited to say hello! She’s crate trained and doing well with her house training, though she’s still perfecting it.

The ideal home for Aspen would be one where her people are around more often than not, as she thrives on companionship. A backyard to zoom around in would be a dream come true, and having a dog sibling to play with would be a huge bonus. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup who will bring endless joy and energy into your home, Aspen might be your perfect match!
