My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sex: Female

Breed: German Shepherd x

Estimated Date of Birth : 05/03/2023

Sweet with a face as cuddly as a teddy bear Cindy is just adorable! Maybe it’s her big hound dog ears or maybe it’s those round amber eyes but we’re all in for Cindy! She needs some training cause she’s a strong girl but that’s exactly what she’ll be getting in Pawsitive Change. Yup Cindy will be headed into our program at North Kern state prison. She’ll get the training she’s lacking and pair that with her loving personality and you’ve got a fantastic dog!

Our shelters are flooded with large and medium size dogs most with absolutely zero manners or skills. This makes it hard for the dogs to find homes and sadly these dogs are then euthanized when their time is up. Pawsitive Change gives them the chance they need to get the training most adopters want. After spending a month at the shelter we got Cindy out just in time and her while life is about to change did the better.

Cindy is strong and super fun. Just a young dog who enjoys being alive. For the next three months she’ll be learning everything she can in Pawsitive Change and will gain a solid foundation in basic obedience skills including leash manners, improved attention to her handler and impulse control. Those skills and her super cute face we hope will land her the forever home she’s never had. If you’re all in for Cindy the way we are please consider making her a perfect permanent part of your family. Apply today!
