Hello, my name is Lia! I’m a sweet and gentle 10-year-old girl looking for a loving home. Sadly, my mom developed allergies to me, and despite trying everything, her breathing didn’t improve. So, here I am, hoping to find a new family to love!
A little about me: I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and made the big move to Kansas two years ago. I’ve lived in a multi-family home with cat-friendly dogs and older cats, so I’m used to sharing my space. I also do well with children, but I appreciate having a safe, quiet spot to retreat to when I feel overwhelmed. If I need a break, I’ll politely let you know by meowing or flattening my ears.
I absolutely love lap time and cuddles, but I prefer not to be held for too long. Nail trims and brushing aren’t my favorite activities, but I tolerate them well. Most of the time, you’ll find me napping or waiting for someone to play with me. While I’m not a fan of car rides, I handled the long road trip from California like a champ! Plus, I’m a great patient at the vet.
