Introducing Charlie! His mom was purchased off Craigslist in TX, and her new owner had no idea she was pregnant. When she came home from class one day, she had given birth to 3 beautiful babies. Mama is now spayed, and her babies made their way to us and are ready to find for their forever homes. Charlie is an adorable corgi puppy with a sweet personality. He is 14 weeks old, 12lbs and growing fast.
Charlie has a sweet temperament and will one day grow up to be a perfect gentleman. Don’t be fooled by the puppy eyes though, he’s not completely innocent. He already knows how to use his corgi voice to ask for what he wants and enjoys chasing ankles. He loves to play fetch, and chewing is his favorite activity so lots of toys are a must. Charlie is doing great with potty training, but he will need let out often with reminders and positive reinforcement until he his older. He sleeps in a crate at night in his foster mom’s room and does well for short periods during the day. Charlie would love another dog in the household to be his big brother/sister. While he loves to explore outside, he can be startled by unfamiliar noises and will check in for reassurance. He is looking for a home with a secure and puppy proofed fenced yard and a family with herding breed experience. He has not been tested with cats but has done well with chickens and the rabbit in his foster home. Respectful children 10+ may be considered. Puppy training and socialization classes are highly recommended, and, as a puppy, he will need someone home with him most of the day. He is not a good fit for an apartment situation or young children.

His adoption fee is $550, and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
