My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Mama, Shy, Affectionate

Fuji is a sweet mama who is looking for some attention of her own, now that her kittens are old enough to go to their own homes. For example, Fuji would love to sit beside you and receive pets. We think she has the potential to be a great lap cat, but she is not quite there yet. If you pull your hand away and stop petting Fuji before she is ready, she will give a little swipe to try to keep your hand on her!

Fuji takes awhile to warm up, like a volcano. She can be shy and reserved until she gets to know you. Once she warms up, Fuji would love to get pets and greet you when she sees you. In addition to being shy, Fuji is also a calm spirit. She has shown little interest in toys, but her kittens have always grabbed them before she has had a chance to play so she may enjoy toys in the future!

We think that Fuji would be okay with other furry friends, like dogs and cats, in her forever home, as long as they are cat friendly and respectful of her boundaries. Similarly, we think Fuji would do well alongside kids who respect her boundaries and have previous experience with cats.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
