Entei is incredibly athletic and full of life. She’s the perfect partner for outdoor adventures, whether it’s chasing squirrels, running at the park, or relaxing at the beach. She’s ball-obsessed and loves playing fetch, but she’s just as happy exploring and showing off her love for water.

This clever girl knows a whole range of tricks—sit, touch, give both paws, lie down, stay, spin, and more! She’s food-motivated and eager to please, making training a breeze.

Entei is also affectionate and loves showering her people with kisses. She’s great with kids and other dogs, house-trained, and loves rough play once she gets to know you.

One of our volunteers will reach out either by phone or email. Please be sure to check your junk file.

Home Check

Our Home Checks are Virtual on Zoom, FaceTime, Messenger..... followed by reference check as well as a vet reference check.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your application has been approved and we think the dog you have applied for is a good match we will then set up a meet & greet.

Approve Application

Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract and fee have been received the dog can go home with the approved adopter.

Backstreet Paws Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer based organization that helps homeless, abandoned street dogs find their forever homes. We are dedicated to providing the best possible care for these animals until they can be placed into a loving home. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the number of dogs that are euthanized each year in shelters due to lack of adoptions. We believe that every dog deserves a chance at a happy life and we are committed to helping as many dogs as possible.
