Meet Leopold, a delightful 1.5-year-old Catahoula mix who is as beautiful as he is loving! 🐾❤️ With his striking features and gentle eyes, he draws you in instantly. Leopold’s story is one of resilience and strength. He has faced significant adversity; someone shot him with a gun, leaving him with fragments in his body. It’s hard to believe that such a gentle soul has experienced such pain, but Leopold continues to display an incredible spirit. The vet has assured us that the fragments aren’t causing him any problems and would be challenging to remove. They certainly don’t hinder his zest for life.

This lovable boy is not only friendly but also incredibly social. He gets along fabulously with children, making him an excellent choice for families looking to add a furry member to their household. Leopold is also comfortable around other pets, including cats and dogs, which means he can seamlessly integrate into a multi-pet home. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:
