Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quiet, Calm, Sweet!
Black Magic is pure magic! He is a chill and cuddly cat who will always add sweet sparkles to your day. He likes to take things easy at first while he figures out his surroundings, and then he’s all about getting pets and scratches. He will wiggle his entire body around your hand to get as many as possible! And he can snuggle for as long as you can - maybe longer. Either way, you both win!
When he came to APA! he was diagnosed with stomatitis, which is an inflammation of the mouth. He recently had dental surgery to remove teeth, which is a typical treatment of stomatitis. He may require supportive meds and a wet food diet, but he feels so much better already! He is also being treated for skin itchiness.
Black Magic is a quiet gentleman, and is respectful of your home. All he asks in return is a low-traffic, cozy home with people to cuddle with and to ask for pets with his cute wiggles!
Contact us today to meet him - he will cast a spell over your heart!
Black Magic has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Black Magic can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
