It's raining sassy seniors This velvet potatois everything we LOVE about senior dogs. Seriously though, seniors are THE BEST (IYKYK).Libby has made herself at home, snuggling with foster mama in the big human bed because that's what this queen deserves. She may be a senior girl, but her foster mama reports that she still has some gas in the tank and (mostly) holds her own while the other dogs rumble and play around her.Lib' loves her toys, naps, and being part of a loving, stable home.Like any senior girl, she'll do best in a home without stairs. She would love to share her next life with friendly dogs, cats, and kids. She's the doggo of dreams, and we can't wait to see what lucky family gets to love her furever. Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Submit an adoption application via our website. Candidates can apply for a specific dog or submit a general application.

2.
Interview

Go through our interview process, including a virtual home check.

3.
Approve Application

If applicants are approved, they will be notified by our team via email. They may or may not get a match, at this step.

4.
Meet the Pet

Applicants must go to the foster's home to meet their match in person and are encouraged to bring their dog(s) and kid(s), if applicable.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Review medical records, sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee in full.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters must pick up their dog in person and get them home safely. Sorry, ABR cannot ship dogs.

Austin Bulldog Rescue is 100% foster-based, and does not have a shelter or facility where applicants can come meet dogs before applying. Meet and greets with a potential match will happen after an adoption application is approved. ABR is a matching rescue -- while our teams take dog preference into account, we ultimately match families to the dog best suited for their home and lifestyle. The more thoroughly you answer the interview questions, the better the matching experience on all sides!

Austin Bulldog Rescue (ABR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, breed specific, English Bulldog Rescue Organization in Austin, TX. We are a volunteer run organization that relies solely on tax deductible donations to provide the much needed medical care that our rescued bulldogs require. ABR is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of unwanted English Bulldogs, education of owners on responsible dog ownership, and education of the public on the English Bulldog breed.
