Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack, a two-year-old orange tabby, is looking for a new home. His current family adopted him from the Rosenberg shelter two years ago, but over the past year, Jack has become increasingly skittish and prone to hiding. While he can be very sweet, he startles easily, which has created challenges in a home with a young child. For everyone's safety, the family has had to enforce strict boundaries, as Jack does not feel comfortable around small children.
Jack would thrive in a home with older children or adults only, where he can feel secure and relaxed. He is neutered and gets along well with other cats. He has grown up around a husky and is comfortable sharing space but generally keeps to himself.
The family feels Jack needs a quieter, more patient environment where he can settle in and feel safe. When he’s comfortable, he can be an affectionate and loving companion. They are committed to finding him a home that better suits his needs.
If you think your home might be a good fit or know someone who could provide the right environment, please reach out to us.
