🐾💚Meet Melvin – The Sweetest Little Potato!

Melvin is an almost 3-year-old male French Bulldog who is a true lover at heart. Though his foster family affectionately calls him "Shrek," when Melvin is lying down, he resembles a little sack of potatoes – and trust us, he’s as lovable as one too!

Melvin gets along with everyone – he’s friendly with both humans and dogs alike, and he couldn’t care less about cats (he’s more of a “do his own thing” kind of guy). He’s been a great house guest, never leaving any messes behind.

❗️However, Melvin is a special boy with a condition called IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). This means he requires a loving and understanding owner who fully understands the potential outcomes of IVDD. While we’re hopeful, there’s always the possibility that he may require pain management, and in the worst-case scenario, Melvin could lose the ability to walk. As such, his new home will need to be prepared for the possibility of managing his condition long-term and making sure he avoids jumping on or off furniture, which could aggravate his condition.❗️

With the right care, Melvin can live a happy, comfortable life and will shower you with affection in return. If you’re looking for a mellow, sweet companion who loves to cuddle, this adorable “potato” might be your perfect match.
