Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Margot is a 5-to-6-year-old Carolina Dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Weighing about 55 pounds, this active and playful girl is always up for an adventure—whether it’s playing with other dogs, spending time with kids, or enjoying car rides with the windows down.
House-trained and well-mannered, Margot comes when called and has a loud bark that might just make her your built-in doorbell! Despite her love for fun, she knows how to be sweet and gentle, winning hearts with her affectionate nature.
While she's a fan of land adventures, Margot prefers to keep her paws dry—boats and water aren't really her thing. But she more than makes up for it with her joyful, fun-loving spirit.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and lively dog who will fill your days with smiles and tail wags, Margot is ready to meet you and join your family!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!
2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.
3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
