Poof is an 18 month old male kitty with a story to tell! He came to HART after he and his brother were abandoned near a home that provided food and shelter for community cats. Luckily, the family that provided this service recognized that these friendly kittens could be easily adopted into a warm, secure, and loving home. Although Poof was quite thin and had definitely gone without grooming, he responded positively to a regular routine of combing and kibble. He was vet checked in January, neutered in February and adopted on Valentine’s Day,

That’s when his story goes a bit awry…His adoptive family had a senior cat that was no interested in bonding with Poof. They gave it their best shot, but after 2 weeks, they returned Poof to HART, along with his new haircut, commonly known as the “Lion Cut”.

So now, Poof is once again looking for a home. In his foster home, he has been with other cats, dogs and kids with no issues. He loves attention and is a player and a purrer…his motor never stops! His beautiful long fur WILL grow back…but he doesn’t seem to mind his tassel tail either

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
