Logan’s got nine lives, and he’s not afraid to use them!
This handsome, orange kitty braved a long drive from Quebec to EHS alongside other rescue cats, proving he’s as tough as his namesake, Wolverine. Not much is known about his early days, but one thing’s for sure: Logan’s got spirit, courage, and a bit of spice!
ABOUT LOGAN: -At shelter -Adult, domestic shorthair, male -At EHS, he’s referred to as “babyface.” -Logan is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans. -Logan is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help him become more comfortable around people. -Some skittish cats may remain reserved, while others may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways. -Our volunteers say he is warming up to them and is now eating and napping in their presence. -Logan loves accepting treats from the volunteers and is now letting them pet him with their hands and the back-scratcher! (Chin and cheek scratches are his favourite.) -This sweet boy recently revealed he has a playful side, with a special love of wand toys. -He finds comfort in his kennel mates and often cuddles with them. -If Logan is feeling unsafe in his environment, he can sometimes get overstimulated and become reactive. -Logan is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
LOGAN’S IDEAL HOME: -A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children. -Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Logan settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Logan with a successful transition to his forever home. -Logan would likely do well in a home with other cats, but we are unsure about dogs or other pets. -Logan will require an experienced cat owner who is skilled in reading feline body language.
Every cat has their day, and this wolverine is ready to move on from his mysterious past to a loving home. Do you have what it takes to let this fierce, feisty, and adorable feline into your heart? If so, fill out an adoption application today!
