Meet Myrtle, a delightful 5-year-old miniature Australian shepherd and chihuahua mix, weighing in at justs 34lbs! 🥰 With her sweet and gentle nature, Myrtle embodies the perfect blend of calmness and affection. She enjoys going for leisurely walks, where she can explore her surroundings at her own pace, taking in all the sights and sounds.

At home, Myrtle loves to bask in the warm sunshine, finding the coziest spots to lounge, whether it’s on a sunny patch of grass or curled up on the sofa beside you. Her easy-going personality makes her a joy to have around, as she’s content to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Myrtle is not just house trained; she's also a well-mannered girl who adapts well to various living situations. She has a friendly disposition and does wonderfully with both cats and other dogs, making her an ideal companion for a multi-pet household. However, due to her calm nature, she'd thrive best in a tranquil environment and would prefer to avoid homes with small, boisterous children.

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:
