My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TULLY is a handsome, short-haired, brown and gray adult male tabby cat.  He is a happy and content cat, but he also has a wise spirit, despite his youthful age.  He loves food and is very treat motivated but is known to be a cuddle bug as well.  Tully has some strong opinions and will take charge of situations and let you know what he thinks.  He is very smart, but also takes a bit of time to warm up.  He would do best in a quiet home, since he does like to have his own space to contemplate and relax. Tully is a rewarding cat to love and have in your home--he just needs a chance with someone who will take the time to get to know his needs.   Once you get to know each other, you will have a lifelong, loyal companion!

TULLY has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Tully is on a special diet (Royal Canin G.I. kibble mixed with baby food), and has successfully lost 2 lbs since he first arrived in foster care.  To meet Tully in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID 2302-C0057

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. It is available on our website: https://catrescues.org/forms/cat-adoption-contract/ A paper copy is available at our adoption sites. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, have been de-wormed, treated with flea medication at intake, spayed or neutered, and have been microchipped and tested for felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
