My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lady and Silver: the dynamic sister duo you didn’t know you needed! Rescued from the wilds of Bala Cynwyd (okay, it was actually just the foster moms backyard, but it was getting cold!), these 7-month-old cuties are on a mission to steal your heart and your churros. Seriously, they’ll do ANYTHING for a churro. In fact, they've already mastered the art of eating them one paw at a time, but don’t worry—they’ll let you help if you’re feeling generous.

Lady, with her two adorable black freckles on her nose, and Silver, who’s rocking a nose so pink it’s practically a highlighter, are the cutest duo you’ll ever meet. Both have been spayed, vaccinated, and are in tip-top health (and if there was a “Best Biscuit Maker” award, they’d win that too). They’re experts at using the litter box (because, you know, that's important), and they’ve been fully trained in the fine art of belly rubs. Their foster mom is their absolute favorite human, and they’re not shy about it—they’ll roll over, flash their bellies, and demand affection like true royalty.

Silver’s all about snuggling and, of course, booty taps (thanks to their fabulous cat sitter, who’s got a knack for giving out free, unsolicited taps). Lady is more outgoing, and together, they’re the ultimate pair of sidekicks. Whether they’re sharing a cat tree or holding their foster mom’s hand while munching on churro sticks, these two know how to make you feel like the most loved person on earth.

Now, let’s talk about their perfect home. Lady and Silver will need a patient, loving environment where they can get cozy and relax at their own pace. While they would do fine as the only cats (and only with calm, cat-savvy dogs, if any), they could also thrive in a home with other confident, friendly cats.  Just imagine the joy of having two sweet, funny kitties who love to hold your hand and offer you endless belly rubs. How could you resist?

So, if you’re ready for some purrs, laughs, and maybe a churro or two, Lady and Silver are waiting to bring their charm into your life. Adopt these beauties, and you’ll get more than just cute kittens—you’ll get two new best friends.

Note:  if you do not have any other pets, we require that you adopt TWO kittens.  This is for the benefit of the kitten for behavioral development.  Companionship is critical.

They will also entertain each other and you!

We offer a low cost spay and neuter package.

This cat has tested FeLV/FIV. negative, is current on vaccinations, parasite-free and litter-box trained.

More about this rescue

Founded 1996, the Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society received non-profit status in January 2000. Since then, we have placed hundreds of cats and dogs into loving homes every year. Our animals are temporarily loved and cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found. All of our cats are FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise noted under special needs. They have also had all vaccines for which they are eligible. Some of our animals have incurable diseases and are placed in hospice care where care is given for life if a loving home that is able to care for special needs animals cannot be found.

P.A.L.S. has developed a model for rescue that is careful, effective and which has certain philosophies that govern our decisions. We are a true no-kill organization. The only reason we ever euthanize an animal is because it is suffering and the suffering cannot be relieved. We do not euthanize for logistical, behavioral or economical reasons. Every animal that comes under our protection has a place in P.A.L.S. for the rest of its life. Adopters sign a contract agreeing to, amongst other things, return the adopted animal to P.A.L.S. should they ever be unable to care for it.
