Hunting for a dog that will motivate you to get 2025 moving in the right direction? Then you need a HUNTER! This beautiful American Foxhound mix has no hard feelings about his past, he’s all about the future, and he knows his best life is about to start!

Around 3 yrs old, Hunter loves attention and would love to go wherever you go! He is learning how great life inside a home can be and what it’s like to be loved and spoiled. He is kennel trained, and he is perfecting house training. Hunter loves people! He’s great with kids, most other dogs (no alpha males), and okay with cats.

Still gaining weight, a perfect home would spoil him with healthy meals. He needs a big backyard with lots of good smells to investigate, and plenty of room to run. Hunter deserves a best friend to take him on adventures and see all that this great big world has to offer. Make 2025 your best year, by adopting your best friend!

Hunter will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200.

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
