Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BODE – Certified Good Boy, Expert Lounger, Pup Cup Aficionado
Hi. It’s me, Bode. I’m 3 years old of huggable handsomeness, and due to absolutely no fault of my own, I’ve landed back at the shelter.
Let me be real with you: I am not a fan of this place. It’s loud, it’s stressful, and I have to share the humans. I’m a sensitive soul who thrives in a calm, cozy home with a soft couch and someone who knows how to open a Pup Cup. Or two. Or twelve.
My hobbies include:
Strolling around the block like I own it
Snuggling like a 65-lb throw pillow
Laying dramatically across the floor like a dog-shaped rug
Squeaking squeaky toys like I’m composing a symphony
Demolishing Kongs stuffed with peanut butter and pumpkin like it’s my job
I do enjoy the company of other dogs—with a proper introduction, of course. Cats? Not so much. (They judge me. I can feel it.)
So here's the deal: the shelter is just not the vibe for me. I need a calm home, kind people, and regular snuggles. Bonus points if you drive a car with working A/C and frequent the drive-thru for whipped cream.
Can you help a guy out and get me outta here? I’ll repay you in tail wags, warm cuddles, and zero personal space.
Love,
Bode
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.
