Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucas is a Hound/Lab mix. His family found themselves at an overcrowded shelter, which is no place for young puppies. Mom is the sweetest young mother who found a foster through Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter, and her puppies came to us at Bedford Humane Society. Mom weighs about 40 pounds, so we expect the puppies to weigh close to the same. Lucas is an energetic, mischievous puppy who tends to jump on you to get your attention. Lucas is smart and wants to please. As all puppies do, he will need patience and training to become the perfect addition to your family. Lucas would be fine with younger children who understand puppy behavior and young enough to learn to get along with cats. His birthday is estimated to be Nov. 7, 2024.
Lucas has been dewormed, vaccines are current for his age, and microchipped. Since he is not neutered, Lucas is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County.
