My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper just turned a year old. This sweet and super friendly girl was an owner surrender. Her Dad was a full bred Dauschund and Mom was a Lab/Heeler/Cattle Dog mix of some sort. Her longer body, short legs and brindle coat take after Dad and her face/ears after her Mom. She is a cute looking pup! Piper lived with a 6 year old child and likes to play with other dogs but she does not like to share her food so it is best to feed her by herself. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Piper walks well on a leash but prefers a harness over a collar. At a year old, she still has alot of puppy energy/play in her. Piper weighs about 20 pounds. Please help Piper find the loving home she deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Piper's adoption fee is $450. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
