You’re staring at this ridiculously adorable fluff nugget, convinced we tried to pull a fast one and sneak him in from our Super Bowl Litter. But no, my friend, we did not deceive you. We did not hide his handsome face among the ranks of those football-named cuties. This boy is special—so special, in fact, that he hails from our Ben & Jerry’s Flavors Litter. Now, take a wild guess at his name. Go on, humor me. If your first thought was Chunky Monkey, congratulations—you win absolutely nothing, but you do get the joy of knowing that this big, loveable chunkster is exactly what his name suggests. If you’re a fan of the ice cream flavor, well, then adopting this guy is basically fate. Because let’s be honest—who wouldn’t want a real-life, extra-fluffy, slightly clueless, and endlessly loveable version of their favorite dessert?
Chunky Monkey is a 10-week-old, 8lb male Great Pyrenees mix—emphasis on the mix because let’s be honest, he’s not exactly breaking records in the "biggest Pyr puppy" category. In fact, if you were hoping for a full-blown Pyrabear, you might want to recalibrate those expectations. This boy is more Pyr-a-fox than Pyr-a-bear. But what he lacks in sheer size, he makes up for in pure, unfiltered adorableness. Chunky Monkey is a happy-go-lucky, social butterfly who does great with other dogs, cats, and kids. His daily agenda? Being held, getting cuddles, playing with toys, romping around with the big dogs (blissfully unaware that he is, in fact, not a big dog), and basking in the adoration of his many fans. Basically, unless you’re actively looking for a puppy who doesn’t want to love you, he’s probably the perfect fit.
