Meet Blueberry: A Sweet and Loving Pit Bull Terrier Mix -  Blueberry is a beautiful 18-24-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as sweet as her name. Weighing in at around 55 pounds, she’s a gorgeous, healthy pup who’s ready to find her forever family. This loving girl has already proven herself to be an exceptional mother, giving birth to four adorable puppies on January 6th. Thanks to the kindness of some amazing people, Blueberry found a safe, warm place to stay before making her way into the rescue, where she has flourished.

Blueberry's Personality:  Blueberry is a devoted and affectionate girl, and she’s been a fantastic mom to her pups. Now, it’s her turn to receive all the love and attention she deserves. She’s incredibly people-oriented and enjoys being close to her human companions. Whether she’s relaxing on the couch or playing with her favorite toys, Blueberry loves spending time with her family.

She’s fully crate and house trained, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs in her foster home. Blueberry has a calm and affectionate temperament that makes her a joy to be around. She’s young and playful, but also knows when it’s time to relax and cuddle. She would fit perfectly into any household that’s ready to offer her the love and stability she deserves.

What Blueberry Needs:  Though she’s been an amazing mom, Blueberry is now ready to find a home where she can be the center of attention. She’s been around children at adoption events and has shown that she does well with them, making her an excellent addition to a family with kids. Blueberry would thrive in a home where she can continue to learn and grow with the right care, patience, and structure.

If you are interested in adopting Blueberry, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.  

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
