Alpine is a sweet girl who was lost and joined up with a cat community because she was hungry. A feeder thought she might have been attacked by a dog so after her recovery she came to rescue to find a home. We noticed that Alpine's eyes were dilated all the time so we rushed her to the vet who specializes in eye diseases. Just in a short time her retinas had detached, most likely due to her traumatic experience of the dog attack, and despite all efforts she is blind. Blind cats adjust well in a home where they can learn where everything is placed and can live a happy life.
