Emma is a beautiful, gentle dog (just about a year old) who’s blossoming into her best self. She loves being outside, taking in all the smells on nature walks, then curling up afterward for some quiet time and belly rubs. Her fur is incredibly soft. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and playful with dogs of all sizes. Emma really shines when she has a confident canine companion by her side, so we’re looking for a home with another friendly dog to help her continue growing.
After a tough start in life, Emma can be shy at first meeting, but with a little patience and a few treats, she starts to open up. In less than a week, she was snuggling with her foster family, happily hopping onto the bed for belly rubs. When she leans in for more pets, rolls onto her back, or wags her tail with quiet excitement as you clip on her leash, it feels like such a gift.
She’s food-motivated, affectionate, and gaining confidence every day. One thing to note: Emma isn’t a fan of cats, so she’ll need a feline-free home. But with love, calm encouragement, and a little time to settle in, she will reward you with the most tender companionship and heart-melting moments.
