Nikko and Lucas are available for adoption together. These boys came to us from Texas in desperate need of help after their owner passed away, leaving them with no one to care for them. They were on the verge of being sent to a shelter, where the outcome could have been dire. After extensive networking and appeals for help on social media, their story reached us, and we simply couldn't say no to them.
Nikko is approximately 13 years old and is a Chihuahua mix, weighing 11 pounds. Lucas is a 9-year-old poodle mix, also weighing 11 pounds.
Meet Nikko and Lucas, two adorable boys who are as sweet as can be! They love spending their days lounging in their cozy beds, but the moment they hear the refrigerator open, they perk up and are ready for some tasty treats! Lucas has a playful habit of sniffing around for any tasty morsels that might have fallen.
These two are big fans of walks and get super excited when they see their leashes! While they enjoy their fully fenced yard in their foster home, they are also great on a leash, so a fence isn’t necessary. They’re wonderful travel buddies, too, and do well in the car.
Nikko and Lucas get along well with other dogs, but they prefer a little peace and quiet, so they’re not too keen on young pups that are looking to play. Plus, they’re both crate-trained!
These two lovely boys are on the lookout for a forever home where they can stay together and be showered with the love they truly deserve. If you’re ready to welcome some joy and companionship into your life, Nikko and Lucas are eager to meet you!
Both dogs are neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and have tested negative for heartworm. They have also had their teeth cleaned and have been professionally groomed. Although they both have some lumps and bumps, they are healthy and happy dogs. We are asking for a combined adoption fee of $550 for both dogs.
