Meet Cookies. Not the typical pet name of "Cookie" but plural ... because shouldn't all cookies be plural? Besides having a great name, Cookies is special in another way. He is FIV+. He therefore needs a home that has other FIV+ cats or a home with other calm cats. Cookies, with an estimated birthday in 2021, has been a stray for some time, being feed by an apartment community. He is reported to be great with kids, loves to be petted but does not like to be picked up. It's unknown if he likes other cats or dogs. At the shelter he’s been soliciting pets and love from everyone he meets. While Cookies is FIV+, cats with this condition can live a long and healthy life. Come in to meet him and learn more about this condition. And note, FIV+ cannot be transmitted to people or other types of animals, except cats. His adoption fee of $85 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness exam at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
