My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rick! He is a little over a year old weighing around 60 lbs. He was surrendered after his family had a change in living / working situations and it was for Rick’s best for him to find a new forever home. Rick is a very active boy who could run and play fetch for hours ! He’s done very well with other dogs and cats in his foster home. He is house broken and crate trained, as well as having amazing house manners. Rick is great for car rides / road trips too. He would do best in an adult home or a home with older children as he hasn’t been exposed to many young kids. But if you’re looking. For you next adventure buddy Rick would be a perfect match. Please note before applying if you rent your home / apartment that your landlord allows PitBull breeds. Rick is fixed, up to date on vaccinations , current in a yearly heartworm test (Negative), and on preventative care. His adoption fee is $275

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in Adopting one of our animals is to fill out an application on our website. Once approved to adopt we will set up a meet and greet, so any current household animals, family (kids) can all meet with the new foster animal. Our fees are based upon the age of the animal and the medical involved. Dog fees range from $200.00 - $400.00
We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00

We do require all adopters to sign a contract and sign our medical documentation sheet.

More about this rescue

AJ's Search and Rescue Is an animal rescue which was founding in Sept 2016. The rescue is named after our founders first "Foster Failure". Angela aka AJ, fostered over 140 dogs through a previous organization, which lead her to adopting (foster failing) her 125 foster dog (Serchee).

As time went on AJ decided it was time to start yet another business and this time it was a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue. All animals that come through our organization are in foster homes, which allows a new adopter to know more about the animals in many aspects.

Any and all donations and adoption fees go towards proper medical care and feeding all our animals.

We strive to get animals off the streets and into new homes so they can live a wonderful life.
