My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buster!

Buster is an estimated 4-year-old DSH brown tabby & white kitty. He is house-trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and ready to go!

Buster is a sweet, friendly BIG guy! His chatty nature and affectionate demeanor make him quite the charmer. He loves to have his face scritched and is famous for his head bops. Buster's also a hard worker, spending his days at the biscuit factory, kneading away. He really likes his food so keeping an eye on his weight will be necessary and he does like to indulge frequently in cat nip! We think Buster would do well with in any family! He’s been around other cats but is not dog tested. We think he may do well given his laid-back personality.

If you're looking for a companion who's as friendly as he is endearing, Buster's your guy. To apply to adopt please visit our website www.muskokaanimalrescue.com and fill out an application.

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a virtual home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
