I'm Junior, a 3-year-old Border Collie mix. I was surrendered locally due to no fault of my own; my owner has health issues that mean I need to find a new home. I'm a friendly, energetic, smart boy who would thrive in a family that would take me hiking or running -- I love the outdoors and even know how to ride in a canoe! I'm excellent with other dogs and have been going to doggy daycare, where I have lots of friends. I'm also good with visitors in the home and enjoy meeting new people. I have been to puppy obedience class and have my Canine Good Citizen certificate, too. I know sit, stay, place, and touch. I'm good in the house and don't need to be crated.
