Approx DOB: July 2024

Duffy was rescued from a colony of cats during a TNR operation along with four others his age. He is a big boy and will sit on any lap that is available and loves to cuddle. He will play until exhausted, but really prefers to be held and loved. Duffy is a medium energy kitten. The other four in the group that he was raised with are Cinder (possibly his sister), Sterling (possibly his brother), Spider, and Pixie. It would be wonderful to place Duffy with one of these four. Duffy likes to play, but will stop long enough to visit anyone entering his room. He always greets his foster mom and dad at the door. Duffy enjoys playing with wands and automatic toys with mice that pop out, as well as a plethora of balls and small toys. He loves most treats, especially Instinct freeze-dried chicken and Temptations chicken treats. Duffy has been diagnosed with a condition that is acquired in utero called cerebellar hypoplasia, which can be caused from the mother cat contracting a viral infection while pregnant. He has a bit of a wobble in his back legs, but this doesn't slow him down. The only thing that we have found that he can't do that the other kittens can do is jump onto a counter. This could be a real plus for someone who doesn't want a cat on the counter or on the table. There is no cure for this condition, but on the bright side it won't get any worse. Please come and meet this snuggly boy. You'll be glad you did!!!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
