My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Florida Blue is kind of an unusual boy that we are offering to some lucky and qualified family or couple or person.  He is a 5 year old, 100 pound Lab and Great Pyr mix that was found originally by a dumpster in Phoenix, Arizona as a young puppy.  The couple who found him, took him home and are living in Florida where Blue loves the chance to get in the water every day.  The problem that has surfaced is Florida Blue’s safety in the alligator filled waterways of Florida.  His owners who adore him are so scared of an alligator attack on their handsome boy that they have reached out all the way up to Nashville, TN to Critter Cavalry Rescue rescue for help.  They just want him out of the state of Florida and safely placed with people who can offer him the chance to swim and enjoy the water but without the high risk of meeting harm from an alligator. They are willing to drive him up to Nashville where Critter Cavalry can send him to a terrific new home.  He can be adopted locally in Tennessee or hop on the rescue transport van and ride to a place in the northeast.  All he needs is the right home.  As you can see this boy is all about being handsome, big and full of love.  He is well trained and great on a leash and housebroken.  No need to crate him because he is just plain FINE home alone.  He rides like a champ in the car and he rarely meets a dog he doesn’t like.  Sometimes there might be one here or there but he is truly a peaceful big boy!  If you would love a seasoned and happy big boy then Florida Blue is your guy!!!  Just promise to take him swimming.  That is our biggest request.   Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for an application.  Tell us where you live: city and state when inquiring.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
