Meet Calcite, a gentle and reserved black-and-white feline with a mysterious past. As a former stray, her history is a puzzle, but what we do know is that she`s a survivor with a quiet grace. Calcite’s striking black and white coat contrasts with her soft, shy demeanor. While she may take time to open up, her calm presence and trusting eyes reveal a deep longing for companionship. She enjoys the peace of cozy spaces, where she can curl up and feel safe. Though her past remains a mystery, Calcite is slowly learning to embrace the love and warmth of her new home, one gentle step at a time.

How much does it cost to adopt: already fixed?
Calcite`s adoption price is $110, which includes a free vet visit from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic, and the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments, along with testing and a bag of adoption food.
She was also vaccinated for rabies, so a $25 charge has been added to cover the cost of the vaccine. The total cost to adopt Calcite is $135.
