This adorable little man is Rowan! He came in with his sister Ruthie when their family couldn't give them the care they needed. Born 10.19.24 these adorable little chihuahua mixes are incredibly sweet and so full of love and cuddles. They love everyone they meet including the cats and other dogs at the shelter. Rowan is about 10 pounds currently and might be 25-30 full grown. He is learning lots of things and will need someone to continue helping him with his housetraining and kennel training. He is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00 on a spay/neuter contract.

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
