My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calm, quiet , gentle, easy-going

Hi, I am a calm and gentle young adult cat. I am abour 5 years old, very quiet and a great companion for a stay home human. I was somebody's pet at some point in my life, I am used to be petted and don't mind to be pick-up, cuddles, hugs, kisses etc. I am all about human affection. I don't remember how I ended up living in a backyard of an abandoned Townhome complex here in Houston. Neighbors tolerated me for a while until the new property management decided I wasn't welcomed in their complex anymore and I was evicted, at no fault of my own. A kind cat-lover lady took me in before animal control would take me out my shed. I am living in a temporary foster home now with plenty of food and a cozy bed while waiting for that compasonate. human that could give me a permanent home, attention and the affection I crave, is that you? I will compensate you with sweet purring and quiet companiship for the rest of my life. contact my foster human at Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com for more information about me. I would love to meet you and tell you more about me. XoXo ReyMarch 13, 2025, 8:25 pm

More about this rescue

Adoptable Cats Houston is a non-profit organization committed to finding permanent homes for cats and kittens. Our cats were homeless strays or abandoned cats that were living in a colony that we manage. They live in foster homes where they are nurtured and receive the medical care they need. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being adopted into responsible, stable, loving forever homes.

We are a team of cat lovers that volunteer to make a difference to the stray cats that cross our path.
