Charlie is a 7 month old, male, German Shepherd mix surrendered to the rescue due to being too much for his elderly owner to handle. This handsome, sweet boy would really benefit from some basic obedient training. Charlie is friendly, playful and is looking for an active family that will provide daily exercise & help Charlie be the best boy he can be. It was only Charlie and his elderly owner in the home so at this time we are unsure how he is with other animals. His owner reports that Charlie is house trained and was free to roam in the home with only being crated at bedtime.Charlie is already neutered and is current on vaccines. Submit Application

All pets adopted from Tri-County Animal Rescue Center will have received a vet wellness examination, de-wormer, and vaccinations.

2.
Approve Application

If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed. If living in a rental property, we must get permission from the landlord.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our dog adoption fee is $125 and we require either a spay/neuter deposit of $50 or a certificate for spay/neuter at our vet may be purchased for $100 (unless already spayed/neutered which would change the adoption fee) if the option of the $50 deposit is chosen, it will be returned after proof of the surgery.
Our cat adoption fee is $75 for kittens and $35 for adult cats. The cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter costs. All cats and dogs receive a wellness check and are current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age.

The adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and providing references. Any current pets in the household must be spayed or neutered (unless not recommended by a veterinarian for health reasons) and current on vaccinations. If adopting a cat/kitten you must agree to not have it declawed.
If living in a rental property, we must obtain permission from the landlord before an adoption can be approved. The dog or cat will be placed with the potential adopter that best matches the needs of the animal.
