This is the much-anticipated Noodle, and we’ve had a lot of interest since we first introduced her! We’ve received numerous messages and emails about adopting her, but we’ve held off on accepting any applications until now to ensure that her true personality and needs are clear. Please read her full bio carefully – only applicants who are a good match for Noodle will be contacted.
Noodle is an approximately 3-year-old poodle mix who came to us from a puppy mill. Unfortunately, she likely endured mistreatment, especially from a man, which has left her nervous and stressed around men. A woman-only home would be ideal for her, or a home where her main caregiver is a woman. Any men in the household must be patient and understanding of the slow process it will take for her to trust them.
Although Noodle has lived with children in her foster home, she would do best in a home without young kids. The fast movements and loud noises can be overwhelming for her. However, she is comfortable with older kids and largely ignores the family cat.
Noodle is a cuddle bug who bonds deeply with her person! She loves to cuddle, but only on her terms. She’s starting to come out of her shell and enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home. With a matching energy level, she would likely do well with another dog.
Noodle loves to run around the yard, even if it’s just by herself! She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, so a fenced yard is essential for her to feel safe and secure.
Though Noodle is shy and nervous at first, once she trusts you, she’s an incredibly loving companion. She is a couch potato at heart and enjoys lounging around, although she does get the occasional zoomies! She’s gentle, sweet, and very friendly once she’s comfortable with you.
Noodle deserves the very best home—a calm, patient environment where she can continue to blossom and trust again. Please only apply if you understand her needs and are prepared to provide her with the loving home she truly deserves.
Noodle is up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. She has been spayed and had a dental cleaning. She is being fostered in Brampton.
