My name is Oatmeal!

Oatmeal's early life was tough, but he's now a goofy, playful pup bursting with joy! Abandoned after a year outside, he's ready to shower his first real family with love.

He's still learning about indoor living (potty training, toys!), but is eager to please and a star student in group training. He'd love a high-energy dog sibling or a pack to play with. He's too enthusiastic for small animals, but a canine social butterfly who can play for hours.

Oatmeal's wary of unfamiliar men, especially large ones, and might bark or run if scared, but warms up quickly with patience. Being part husky, he's vocal – happy "yips" during play and protests being left out. He "hugs" with his paws and counter-surfs (he's learning!).

Oatmeal has a lot to learn, but so much love to give. He's ready for a family who will embrace his playful spirit and help him blossom.
