My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🎉 Patty: The Sweetheart Mayor of the Foster Room 🎉

With her gorgeous tiger stripes kissed by hints of orange, Patty is not only beautiful—she's also one of the most tender-hearted cats you’ll ever meet. About to celebrate her very first birthday at the end of April, Patty has grown up in her foster home, where she’s proudly taken on the role of mayor of the foster room. She greets every new arrival with the gentlest nose boops and teaches them the ropes with grace and kindness.

Though shy with strangers (and quick to hide when unfamiliar voices echo nearby), Patty blossoms into an affectionate lovebug once she feels safe. Around her foster mom, she turns into a velcro kitty—chasing her around the room, meowing sweetly to be picked up. And when she’s scooped into loving arms? Her favorite place is with her chin on your shoulder, face tucked into your neck, soaking up every moment. Even after being put down, she’s ready to ask for round two (or three) of cuddles and neck scritches—her absolute favorite!

Patty would do best in a quiet home with older children or adults only, where she has the time and space to truly settle in and shine. She would love to be adopted with her sweet brother Drumstick, her amazing mom Hen-rieta, or one of her beloved foster friends Penelope, Ben, Jed, or Mia—she’s formed strong bonds with them all and would thrive with a familiar feline companion by her side.

Patty will need time, patience, and a calm environment to feel secure—but for the lucky person who gives her that, she’ll be the most loyal, snuggly shadow you could ever ask for. 💕🐾
Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this cat or kitten is still listed, we are still accepting applications. Please avoid emailing us about availability.

Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies and distemper vaccinations, FIV/feline leukemia testing, flea treatment, deworming, and a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Since our shelter operates by appointment only and many of our cats are in foster homes, an approved adoption application is required before scheduling a meet-and-greet. This process ensures the safety of our fosters and potential adopters.
