HI - I'M BENJI, a sweet & gentle 4-year-old Boxer-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was initially rescued from a crowded California shelter, and later was attacked by another male dog at a boarding kennel. Despite my tough luck, I'm doing great and am no worse for wear. I've healed nicely and am ready for the next chapter of my life -- a home to call my own. I am very much a couch potato dog in that I love to lounge on the sofa or sleep on your bed. I am a huge snuggler! I have also done well with other dogs. I am quite affectionate, and love belly rubs. I am also an active, strong boy so I need a strong owner, and someone who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. A big, fenced yard would be a plus, but is not a necessity. I weigh about 60 lbs. Please email for an application.
