*Bonded to Sosha *
Vincent and Sosha are a bonded pair, and while they may not look alike, their behaviors reveal their special connection! These two kittens are shy but incredibly sweet—you can pick them up, brush them, pet them, and even sneak in some kisses.
Miss Sosha, the stunning tortie, is the more outgoing of the two. She’s affectionate in her own way, offering the softest, most playful love nibbles. She loves playing with toy mice, chasing her favorite string toy, and zooming past her foster human in joyful bursts of energy. Though still growing socially, Sosha is blossoming into a confident little explorer. She enjoys sitting nearby, curiously observing her surroundings, and never hides when someone approaches for pets or gentle scratches. She also watches with interest as the other foster cats venture into her safe space. Sosha is an absolute sweetheart—gentle, playful, and full of potential!
Vincent, on the other hand, has the most endearing personality. This big boy is a love bug in the making—just waiting for the right moment to let his affectionate side shine. Right now, he’s a bit of a tease, recognizing his foster mom as someone special while still keeping a little distance. That said, he’ll happily accept belly rubs from more than one person! He has a funny habit of lying belly-up with his head curled in, always finding the coziest position. Socially, he’s making great strides. One day, instead of waiting for his foster mom to come to him, he bravely left his safe hiding spot and slithered onto a floor pillow right in front of her. When he can’t find Sosha, he’ll let out a single, longing “meow.” Each morning, he runs up with Sosha to greet his foster family before retreating to a comfortable spot. He’s also jumped over his gate, showing his growing curiosity and readiness to explore beyond his room. Vincent enjoys being brushed, kissed, and even held belly-up—he just needs a little more time to fully embrace his affectionate nature.
These two are in an important social growth stage. They are a joy to watch, low-maintenance, and simply need human connection to reach their full potential. Both love being touched and have striking appearances—Vincent, almost solid black with mesmerizing green eyes, and Sosha, a gorgeous mix of brown and black with striking orange-yellow eyes. (Picture Vincent with a green-themed space and Sosha with a splash of pink!)
If you’re even a little curious, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Their foster family is absolutely thrilled to watch them grow and would love to share more about these special kittens!
Vincent was an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
