My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jax, a sweet and friendly companion with a heart full of love. He carries a sense of curiosity that makes every day a new adventure. Jax prefers the simple pleasures in life, such as getting scratches and belly rubs. He's more interested in cuddling up next to you than chasing after toys. His affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal friend. With Jax, you'll have a constant source of comfort and joy.

More about this shelter

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
