My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tilly!

Oh how we love this girl! Tilly is the most affectionate, funny and sweet girl. She is around two years old and about 40 lbs. She had a rough time before she came to us but she is resilient!

Tilly is a super lover. She wants to be near you, sit on you, cuddle you, follow you and be your best friend all day long. She loves playing with toys, zooming around the yard, going on walks and...being by your side. When you think of 'man's best friend' Tilly is the personification of that.

Tilly is smart and picks up on commands easily. She knows the basics and walks nicely on a leash. She is crate trained - though she prefers to be with people. She loves other dogs and loves to play with them. Her play style is a bit rough so she will do best with a dog who likes that sort of play.

Now for the hard part: Tilly needs time to trust new people. She is worried about meeting strangers and allowing them into her space. Once she trusts you she blossoms into the best dog ever, but winning her over takes some time. We are working with her on this and she has made great progress.

Tilly will do best in a home with a yard. She will love a dog friend in the home but can also be an only dog. She is not suitable for a home with cats or kids under 15.

Tilly is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $395.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
