My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CARTER was brought in as a stray at a local shelter. He was heavily matted and needed a friend. RoRescue was called, we had him vetted and he is now ready to start interviewing prospects for a "forever" home. BTW, his fur is growing back CURLY.

BREED: We know that Carter is a "mix breed" That mix is actually a mystery, but based on an educated guess and google, he may have some Schnauzer and Poodle.

ABOUT: Carter loves going for long walks and meeting new people. has asked to find us a family who has a friendly comparably size dog that likes to play.

CARTER's PERSONALITY: So often, dogs seem to be intimidated by men. Not Carter. He seems to like men..... and children and other dogs... and cats... and everyone. He walks well on a leash and is currently he is enrolled in Doggie training class. He seems housetrained, but no guarantees. He loves gentle massages and is eager to learn how to become the "perfect" dog.

RORESCUE NOTES: Carter is a very loving,and playful puppy. We are looking for someone who is an experienced dog owner and willing to continue his training at "the Complete Canine" on 1st and River.

* homes where someone smokes cigarettes inside the home
* homes without a secure fenced yard.
* homes with chain link or wrought iron view fences with escape spaces
* homes without a safety fence around their pool
