Bones was found on a back road in November. It was clear she had been dumped. She had recently been spayed and was estimated to be about 1.5 years old. She is a Boxer Pitbull mix. They believe she is more Boxer than Pit, with her underbite being prominent. She is a very energetic, playful girl but also very anxious. She does not like to be left alone, but she has been semi-crate trained. She does better in a smaller crate rather than having space to move about. She will be your best friend and protector, though she isn't aggressive towards people. She has not been friendly with our other dog, but she is not aggressive either. She has been great with our five children, but as I said, she is high-energy and would probably do best in a home without very small children. Our youngest is five. She is house-trained if she is being watched, if not, she is questionable. She loves to chew and is great at fetch! She has been dewormed (as a precaution) and treated for fleas.
