Greetings! My name is Astro, and I arrived at K9s For Warriors in December of 2024. After being in the service dog program for a few months, I realized that what I really want now is to be your playful, loving protector. I am all about making the most of what life has to offer, which means lots of playtime with all of my favorite toys. Sometimes when I meet new people it can be a little scary and I can be a bit vocal. With time, patient, and a proper introduction I can warm up to the right forever family. I bond over playtime, learning new tricks, and snuggles once I'm comfortable. I do enjoy having my own space, especially when it comes to my favorite treats, so I prefer to keep these moments private in my crate. A calm, low-traffic household with an experienced handler would be the perfect environment for me to thrive and build a lifelong connection with my forever family.
