Hi, my name is Cookie. You might have read my sister Khiki's story, but if not that's ok. I don't mind telling it again. I wish I had a happy beginning, but I don't. It starts when mom was thrown out of a moving vehicle. As if that wasn't bad enough, she was pregnant. A couple days later me and my sister were born. Although she tried her best, we were scared and living on the streets. Somewhere along the way we got separated. It's been really hard. The nice man who found my sister and brought her to the shelter didn't give up. He looked for me everywhere and eventually found me too. I'm so glad to be here, and to have found her. With everything that has happened, I am sort of shut down right now. I'm scared and I don't know who to trust or what to think. My sister was able to put the past behind, relax and open up so I know I can too. I think it will just take time. So, I'm asking now to forgive me for all my flaws. I'm asking to be your cat. Please adopt me so we can be a family.
