Meet Kyle – A Sweet but Spicy Senior Looking for a Quiet Home

Kyle is a stunning 12-year-old Turkish Van who has been a beloved rescue for the past 10 years. She can be incredibly affectionate—nuzzling into you, curling up in your lap, and showing her softer side when she feels comfortable. However, Kyle has always had a feisty streak and can scratch or bite when the mood strikes.

Kyle is FeLV+, which means she’ll need to be the only cat in the home unless any resident cats are also FeLV+. She’s currently living with two toddlers, but the chaos of a busy household has become too overwhelming for her. She has started scratching and biting, even unprovoked, which has created an unsafe situation for both her and the children.

Kyle would thrive in a calm, adult-only home or with a family with older children who understand her boundaries. She needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter who will give her the space and understanding she deserves. In the right environment, Kyle will be a loving and loyal companion—on her own terms.
