Meet Macie!

Macie is an ~ 1 - 1/2 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!

Meet Macie! Macie is a spunky lady who is looking for her purr-fect and loving forever home with a family who understands her confident (and sometimes complicated) personality. She did take some time to adjust to her surroundings here at the shelter and will no doubt take some time to acclimate to her new home. But once she does, her sweet and silly personality will surely win over the hearts of her new family. She enjoys pets and attention but also isn't a super needy girl as she does great with her solitude when you can't be around. She can be an active, curious, and playful girl but also calms down quickly when she knows its time to settle down. Overall, she is a well-rounded kitty who can't wait to meet her new family!

Mace did previously live in a home with children as well as with another cat and even a dog! She did great with all of them but it is evident that she doesn't do well with a lot of chaos or frequent change so she may do best in a bit of a calmer home with respectful kids at least 5 years of age or older who understand that she may prefer her space at times (and isn't afraid to let it be known!). She should also do ok with other respectful pets in the home given slow and proper introductions to one another along with having plenty of her own safe space to retire to should she feel the need.
