My name is Zane!

This high-spirited youngster is Zane. He arrived on 2/4 at the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a stray. He weighs 48 pounds and is about one year old. My Dog Scanner app suggests the following possibilities in his breed mix: Jindo, Shiba Inu and Siberian Husky. He is an “on the go” kind of guy with places to go, people to see and things to do. He has a real zest for living and an enthusiastic outlook on life. He is a fun-loving, high energy pup that would be perfect for a person or family that have an active lifestyle. I can just see him accompanying his new family on a camping trip, walks in a local park, or on early morning jogs! He walks well on a leash and is possibly housetrained as he pottied outside. He is crazy about toys and tennis balls and very playful. He is friendly and was perfectly good with me petting him…once he took a break from playtime that is. This handsome boy with one brown eye and one blue eye, has been well cared for but will need a new home if his people don’t show up. I took him outside to potty, and afterwards he wanted to immediately come back indoors, indicating to me that he has no interest in being a backyard dog.
